These nomenclature stencils are outstanding and very high quality. Following the directions and transferring with a low tack painters tape works great and allows for easy positioning. Following the directions and ghosting paint on with an airbrush spraying klasskote paints worked great without a single bleed under the stencil. The stencils peeled off after painting without any issues. A big thumbs up for 1 man army stencils.

Are you looking to add the “It factor” to your next build? If you are, the 1ManArmy High-Definition Airbrush Masks/Stencils from Chris Mayer at northidahowarbirds.com are your solution. His products are perfect for the modeler who wants to elevate their favorite airplane project(s) to the next level. At first glance, I thought the product was a bit overpriced, but I realized the price perception really came down to the level of detail one wishes to add to their project. Once I saw the results, the price point didn’t seem to matter at all. For reference, my project was the Ziroli Panther and I used the 1/6.3 scale stencils, which were included with the order. The package arrived in a secure cardboard box. Inside, I found a color data sheet, detailed placement guide, the actual stencils, sample stencils and a step-by-step user manual. I used Behr latex flat paint with a Minwax (water based) clear satin as a foundation for the stencils. For stencil paint, Tamiya Lacquer airbrush was applied. A key tip for using the product is to FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS PRINTED IN THE “STENCIL USER MANUAL” and spray multiple light layers of paint. It is important to be patient and not get in a hurry. You can apply these stencils before the first flight or add them to the old standby favorite.
